North American University will be closed on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, due to anticipated hazardous driving conditions resulting from severe weather. As a result, all on-campus classes will be switched to online, and university offices will be closed for the day.

Faculty and staff will work remotely to ensure the continuity of operations where possible, and all online classes will proceed as scheduled without interruption.

The safety of our students, faculty, staff, and the community remains our top priority. We strongly urge everyone to take extra precautions and stay safe during this time.

North American University will be closed Monday, July 8 2024, due to inclement weather from Tropical Storm Beryl. The safety and well-being of our students, faculty, and staff are our utmost priority. Given the potential risks associated with the impending storm, the university has decided to close its campus and suspend all in-person classes and activities for the day.

We advise all members of the university community to take necessary precautions to ensure their safety during the storm. Please stay informed through local weather updates and adhere to any directives issued by local authorities.

Updates regarding the reopening of the campus and resumption of regular activities will be communicated through the university’s official channels, including the website, email notifications, and social media platforms.

North American University will be closed Tuesday, Jan. 16. 2024, due to inclement weather. NAU expects to resume normal operations Wednesday, Jan. 17. NAU will continue monitoring the weather and updates will be posted at on our website

NAU will resume normal business operations on Wednesday, September 15, 2021.

NA continues to monitor weather conditions. There are no changes in our current operations. We will provide additional information as it becomes available.

We are aware of the concern that tropical storm Nicholas is posing. As of now, we are not planning to close the NAU campus. We will send a second update today at 5:00 p.m. or before, with the final decision pending updated weather reports.
