IT Help Desk

You can request IT help from NAU IT Department in three ways:
1. By walk-in into the office – 8th Floor, Room 820
2. By phone – 832 230 5541
3. Submitting a ticket to helpdesk via support@na.edu
NAU IT help desk prefers the third method of communication, sending email via support@na.edu:
– User will have the ticket number
– User will get the updates when NAU IT Department works on it
– User will get notification when the ticket is closed
– Provided solution will be used for the future reference

Printing

NAU IT Department provides print, copy and scan services to faculty, staff, and students.

Students:
– Each user will be credited $15 per semester (4 months)
– Black and White prints cost 10 ¢ per page, or 150 page per semester
– Color prints cost 25 ¢ per page, or 60 page per semester
– Print accounts can be loaded by paying to Business Office
– User can login to print accounts at http://ithelpdesk:9191 (accessible only from campus network) using Computer/Network Login credentials

Scan
– Students can use scanning machine in the library
– This service is free of charge
– Students need to provide valid email to get the scanned file

Copy
– Student can make copy in the library
– Black and white copy charge is 10 ¢ per page payable at the coin machine
– Color copy is 25 ¢ per page payabale at the coin machine
– Copy charges are not from print accounts, it should be paid at the time of copying

Faculty and Staff
– Users are setup with the appropriate printing machines
– Users are loaded with initial credit for printing and will be adjusted in timely manner
– Users can login to print accounts at http://ithelpdesk:9191 (accessible only from campus network) using Computer/Network Login credentials

Scan and Copy
– Users are setup with scanning folder at the assigned machine
– Scanned filled will be sent to scan folder under the home directory of the user
– Copy user id will be assigned to the user to make the copy
