Newly Hired, Now What?

Information for Newly Hired Employees : Faculty and Staff

Congratulations on your acceptance to join North American University or the Gulf Language School. We are so excited for you to join our growing team!

Your first step in the new employee process is to get the proper documentation to the Human Resources Department. The documents listed below need to be filled in and submitted prior to your first day of employment. When you click on each link it will take you to an external page where you can securely fill-in and submit each form.

STEP 1: New Employee Forms

You will receive an onboarding email through ADP, follow the prompts to begin your new employee paperwork

STEP 2: Form I-9

Once you are on campus you will need to bring Form 1-9 with you along with your ID as listed on page 3 of the I-9 instruction sheet.

STEP 3: Transcripts and Certificates

All conferred degrees should be ordered and issued to NAU Human Resources. They can be sent electronically to hr@na.edu. If your institution chooses to mail it can be sent to the following address:

Official transcripts should be received by the Human Resources Office within 1 week of your start date.

STEP 4: Log into your new na.edu email account

Instructions to log in will be sent to the address provided to the Human Resources Office during your interview process.

STEP 5: Complete the new employee onboarding

Information will be sent to you regarding required training once your documents have been received and your start date finalized.
At any time throughout the year you can update both form W-4 along with your direct deposit form by clicking on the forms and submitting them. Please allow 5-7 days for it to go into effect.
