Khan Academy
Khan Academy is an American non-profit educational organization. It offers practice exercises, instructional videos, and a personalized learning dashboard that empowers learners to study at their own pace in and outside of the classroom. Sign-up is free.

National Academies’ Division of Behavioral and Social Sciences and Education (DBASSE)
The National Academies’ DBASSE advances the behavioral and social sciences and their application to policy and practice. The goal of the DBASSE is to provide independent, evidence-based advice to decision-makers on key questions of national importance.

TEA’s Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills
This site provides information on the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS), which are the state standards for what students should know and be able to do.

Texas Education Agency (TEA)
TEA is the state agency that oversees primary and secondary public education. It is headed by the commissioner of education. TEA improves outcomes for all public school students in the state by providing leadership, guidance, and support to school systems.

Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB)
The mission of the Coordinating Board is to serve as a resource, partner, and advocate for Texas higher education, resulting in a globally competitive workforce that positions Texas as an international leader.

Texas State Teachers Association (TSTA)
TSTA’s mission is to unite, organize, and empower public education advocates to shape public education in Texas thus providing a quality public school for every child.

The Community College Consortium for Open Educational Resources (CCCOER)
CCCOER promotes the awareness and adoption of open educational policies, practices, and resources.
