NAU earns Top Novice honors in just their second competition

It is with great pride that we share wonderful news from this past weekend. Our North American University Speech and Debate Team competed at the TIFA State Championship Tournament held at Texas State University, facing strong competitors from institutions such as Texas State University, Rice University, Lone Star College, UT Dallas, and McNeese State University.
In only their second-ever competition, our students achieved an outstanding milestone by earning Top Novice in the Duo Dramatic Interpretation event. This is a remarkable accomplishment that places NAU prominently “on the map” in the world of collegiate speech and debate.
